This thread is proving to be a revelation. Astute observations, ignoring provocative criticisms AND spelling corrections. Well done all concerned.

'Well done. All concerned.' Surely?

Hold on a moment - some of us are all knees and elbows when we're just sitting around watching TV - we can't help it.

It is not just mtbers on mtbs in road races that are the problem. Mtbers on roadbikes also make me nervous.  If I see knees and elbows sticking out the sides all over the place I stay the hell away.  Keep it neat and tight or get out the bunch.

Why do watch TV on all fours? Tell your partner to let you on the couch, Woofles.

Finally, after a few years of searching, I've found sanity on the hub. Well done both of you.

And Knysna organising committee for making the insufferable buggers pay their fair share for all the "I did a sub 3 on knobblies" that invariably follow a race where mountain bikes are allowed amongst those of us who have the decency to bring the right kit to the race.

Mmmmmm..

Had some trouble breaking a sub3 on roadie slicks did you...?

Try knobblies...

Maybe Rob and I can go do the CTCT route in less than 3 this week, before he goes full Bionic-man

Some concerned parties can't tell their ass(umptions) from their elbows it seems. It's all knee jerk reactions possibly?

Assuming he assumes the position? All concerned.

I know him. I am even MORE concerned.
