Thats what the website says yes!

Number collection points will be the following bike shops, on the dates listed below:

  • Wednesday, 25 October 2017 - CycleLab, Lynnwood, Pretoria (09:00 - 17:00);
  • Thursday, 26 October 2017 - CycleLab Megastore, Fourways (09:00 - 17:00);
  • Friday, 27 October 2017 - CycleLab Boksburg (09:00-17:00);
  • Saturday, 28 October 2017 - Carnival City (06:00 - 13:00);
  • * Sunday, 29 October 2017 - Carnival City (05:00 - 08:00).

* Licensed cyclists are not allowed to collect numbers on race day - if this is a problem, we suggest signing the petition at registration to convert licensed cyclists to a permanent number for the year.

They are much too busy standing around chatting, drinking coffee and eating rusks on race day to do such a trifle thing.

Gerald, just confirming we can collect at the venue on Sunday?

It's confusing really, the cyclevents website and the SMS do not include Sunday, only on the Germistonwheeler site, does it mention, excluding CSA lic, that you can collect Sunday.

Because certain organisations don’t want to allow number collection on the day. The organiser understands that it is often inconvenient and is willing to offer the service.

Trust me when I say that numbers can he collected on the morning, except for licensed riders.

What if I told you that the licensed riders finish the 947 about 5-10 minutes quicker than this event? At least when they did the 103km event.

This event is 10km longer with half the elevation, yet bunch times times are very similar (probably 20-mins apart).

So I should be aiming for a 3:20 Carnival City?
