The rotarians are meeting with Boksburg traffic officials to try get road closure for the first 16Km (start to Barry Marais). Holding thumbs they get it right. MTB route is almost finalised, and the 5Km trail run is also included for Saturday's events.Cant see why the metro can give reason not to If the 100cycle race they agreed to allow full closure the whole route. The same metro police we speak to are involved and nothing has been approved yet (on road closure)... think L'EtapeSA and you'll understand. One of the guys on our race committee was approached by the organisers to quote on their rescue service (you know the guys with green lights on their 4x4s?).
