KnobbyMech Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 My fingers are literally shaking as I type and it has been doing so for about a week or so now. So much that can go wrong between 4 people in a team. Travelling, packing and obviously in the race...injury, illness, navigation errors. So much preparation and commitment can end in tears of disappointment so easily. Leaving today with 12hrs "alone time" driving to ponder the "what the hell was I thinking" issue. BUT, the excitement of the unknown, the scramble of pre-race planning, the meeting of new friends including my 2 new partners I am about to meet for the first time, mind boggling challenges and the beauty of nature always wins. Nothing like racing through star filled nights day after day... Drive safe. Have fun.
