I assumed he bought the bike second hand in january so that would have taken care of the warranty discount.I could definitely be wrong then too, I just assumed he bought it new!If he didnt then all of what I said doesnt really apply.

If so I would cry in my hands if it only fetched R30k at a mere 6 months old. I'm sure you can squeeze R35k out of it. But like the others said, unless you HAVE to sell it in order to buy another bike (like I currently do, sulk-sulk), I would just keep it for the rainy day when you feel like getting the adrenaline pumping.
