Johnny Lawless Posted June 17, 2017 Share I'll kick it off with a tech Q. I bought the AL Jeffsy which comes with a Monarch R. I like lockout on long climbs so want to get an RL or RT3 version. My shock is tuned to M/L3. My question is for those Jeffsy owners with the lockout Monarchs...is your tune the same?

Johnny Lawless Posted June 17, 2017 Share Where do i put a second water bottle? On your back Hydration was obviously not top of the priority list during design phase. Luckily I'm a Camelbak fan so don't have this issue.

Johnny Lawless Posted June 19, 2017 Share Anyone know if a M/M tune monarch plus will work on the Jeffsy?
Odinson Posted June 20, 2017 Share Anyone know if a M/M tune monarch plus will work on the Jeffsy?Don't know. What I do know is that YT's frames' leverage curves do not play nice with a lot of air shocks. Best to get in touch with YT.
Stellies_gaz Posted July 1, 2017 Share I'm quite curious to hear what fellow Jeffsy riders are using as lower downtube/ bottom bracket protection. I was quite surprised to find that the bike didn't come with a hard plastic sump guard like in the attached photo. I'd also dig to hear how a set of wider rims has improved the ride. I'm loving this whip right now but rims and Onza tyres are probably gonna go soon. Cheers

CheersI use super thick clear vinyl , like 90 bucks for 1x2m sheet from maizies Wider rim will give A better tyre profile and In teory reduce tyre roll , but you can go too wide. A few hubbers with better understandings of the correlation between the two will coment shortly
