The MTBer Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I won't go for the Yari, I would rather go for the Pike of Lyric, just because they have wayyy better dampers. Just be careful when you are buying shocks other than Rock Shox or FOX, parts may be limited in SA, and just keep serving costs in mind as well, RS cost way less to service (dust wipers) than FOX. My FOX cost me around R1000 to service where a Reba would go for around R600/700
T-Bob Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Don't discount the Mattoc Pro 2 with additional IVA. It's a hell of a fork with a lot of adjustably and ability to tune at a crazy cheap price. If I could get it in a 29'r I'd ditch my pike. My Mattoc on my 650 is really, really great. Plus is you can get all the main parts here, Droo @ stoke knows he is way around them (obviously) and you can get the IVA upgrade out of europe for €35. Looking at that Magazine Article you could get yourself a nice Olins for that coin and have people drooling!
