Every one and Pro sports athlete took up their chosen sport cause they enjoyed it and it was fun. when you remove the fun element you doing something very wrong.

Same as when you go the start line and butterflies in your stomach are no longer present or you not nervous its time to call it a day.

I've always lived by that small motto.

and down right TRAGIC when you see a person that cycled for many many years, then age creeps up and he starts doping to keep up the old times .....

SAD when people take their eye of the prize .....

"fun" really should be the cornerstone.

Its is fun to win or am I wrong?

Its is fun to win or am I wrong?

not so much when your roid rage costs you your marriage and friends .....

If "winning" is your sole reason for racing .... the only thing making you happy .... the years tick by, you catch up, even start winning for a while ... more time pass and the next generation catches up to you ..... you now have a few choices:

- roid up and beat these punks, at any and all cost

- stop racing since you cant win fairly

- make peace with the JOY of cycling, enjoying the outdoors, enjoying the comradery ...

but hey, each to his own.  Happy to cycle for the fun of it.

One trolling post!! vs 50 000 good ones.

You are now a troll, it's science!

T-roll is just a contraction of tummy roll. And Dale is in A batch, and accordingly fat. Could almost ride for Jelly Belly.

I was reading through most of the discussions here.

I googled something last night and an ad came up claiming that a drop in testostorone levels (especially if you are older than 40) contributes a lot to the bellyfat problem and the struggle to get rid of it.

The free ad discussed in length the results and reasons but then as always you have to pay to get the real answers.

If I missed it apologies but was this discussed on the thread or not?

If not has anybody some knowledge about it as it makes sense what the guy (and lady) was saying.

Thanks
