No, but got exactly the same one from takealot on sale for R340.

I think most of these led lights are generic chinese stuff with different, sometimes unknown, brands names printed on it.

I have the same one, ive used it one a few night races and it works awesome. Battery lasts pretty long but the battery bag top tube mounty thingy just isnt great, try secure it with another velcro strap or similar.

I have a similar one. Works great but the battery has died and does not take charge. Anyone know who sells replacement batteries at reasonable a reasonable amount?

I have this one and the Ryder light (1500lumen model). The CWC light battery is average at best, loses its charge quicker than the Ryder. The Ryder throws a much wider and brighter beam, the CWC light has more of a focus spotlight beam.

Try Extreme Lights. Hannes is always very helpful.

What are the charge times like when comparing the two?

Surely USB must be longer than wall charging or does it drop it down to 3-5V anyway?

There is no mention of being waterproof on either...one would assume that they are but then again...

Usb plugs into a phone charger or usb wall adapter. Charge times are the same I reckon.

Any feedback on how well it works....or doesn't? How does it compare to the popular Ryder set that comes in a bag?

It seems to be going for a steal compared to what else is out there...

Bought one last year from CWC and works quite well, but battery now only lasts around 45min on the low setting. Also this one runs on 4.6V where most other lights runs on 8.4V so finding a replacement battery can be difficult. Also bought the one from Takealot a few weeks ago which is a bit brighter and runs on 8.4V, which will make replacing the battery much easier. Although I can add that I ran the old CWC light off the new light's battery and it works fine, go figure. Not sure if the light will last with prolonged use though.
