I have an outside room at my house that i want to convert into an area for indoor training (yes permission has been granted from the Mrs). So this is a different kind of build. What would you do if you had a dedicated room? If you already have one pictures would be cool to see. But I am looking for ideas/thoughts. My list to start:

Rubber flooring (NEED TO FIND)

Gaming pc for Zwift (NEED TO FIND/BUILD)

All current gear

Good fan.

I will post pictures of the room as I go.

My company in Cape Town supply the lock floor . Send me a mail to rudy@pmat.co.za and ill reply with a quote . That looks like a good size room you are using . Mine is a bit smaller and cramped but its a good addition to have  at home .

Sounds like progress is steady!

It is coming along. Will be doing some work over the weekend prepping for paint etc. and going out to find the parts for the light fixture

Mine is basically done ... Just need to add some cycling related pics and memorabilia but not going crazy.

2 seater couch should arrive this weekend for by the TV. Won't watch there that much and I DO NOT train indoors unless it has rained for at least 2 weeks continuously [emoji41]

I spend quite a bit of time in the study (still do a bit of consulting work), I have a surround sound system I'll be installing there as well in the coming days.07ca2508cc130f7b75e761641cf8ef6c.jpgba700c64598a35b29f7222149f4da8a3.jpg40e9ea39790a0a4098b4ae235e456208.jpg

Paint stripped over the weekend to allow the damp wall to breath. Checking moisture levels and now waiting for it to be dry enough to continue.

Rent a big industrial gas heater - you might wait a Loooong time otherwise
