If Jen had signed the contract she'd have broken her contract with Scott and her personal sponsors. According to EU law, Swedish cycling cannot ask her to do that. I can't believe how stupid a national federation (except ours) is to sign a deal which would directly force any of their sponsored riders into either not competing or breach of their other contracts.
