Didn't know DSTV would enforce their deal with UCI, so a few friends came over and we were going to do breakfast and watch, then hit Tokai. Instead we tried a bit, I tried to use a DNS service without success, and instead we tweaked a bike or two, swapped a tyre, had a ripping (to be felt later) breakfast and then all hit Tokai... stayed off social media, and then watched later. Was a cracker of a day. All cycled to Muizenberg Beach later for a late lunch. Raging at the wrong people. It's down to the UCI and hosting nation/organisation who prioritise the airtime sales and syndication amongst themselves, generally managed by that nation's national broadcaster. DSTV also don't enforce anything, they buy airtime for domestic rights in SA. That includes buying into the live feed when RBTV do the world cup events.

After a massive high-speed crash that knocked her unconscious for a few brief seconds, she slowly remounted, briefly unaware she was in the middle of a race run and carried on full gas to the bottom.
