Old Man on a Bike Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 On Wednesday 11th Oct, at 6.45 am, cycling up Sandringham dip going north, My handlebar was hit by a car mirror from behind. I managed to stay upright, and not fall over the sidewalk or onto traffic from behind.The moment I was hit, I noted the car with orange signage on the back. The car was stopped at the traffic light, and I almost caught up, before the change of light for him to go. I noted the signage on the car was "CAUTION CYCLISTS AHEAD" and the registration number "COACH 03" I cannot understand my emotions. I am so very happy not to have been hurt or injured, that I cannot feel any anger. But really !!! - to be hit by someone who is on the road to protect people like me??? He / she owes the entire cycling community an apology - And possibly more. And a bar end mirror to me.

Did you go report it to the police? They right there on your right.
