I saw a Hypervox in the cradle the other day. Have to say it was indeed rather sexy, especially with that pixelated detailing. (I thought it was rude to ask to take a picture, so this stock will have to do.)

Details are very sparse - all that has been said on the thread is that the CT shop is not going to be a Swift shop anymore, just a bike shop; and that Mrk Blewett has "sold the brand" to some "Asian/Brazilian concern". These are hardly explanations of what's actually going on/what has happened/how Swift will operate in SA in the future, etc etc etc (e.g. will I ever be able to buy a Swift again? Is Mark still going to be involved? etc etc etc).

LOVE my Swift. And want my next bike to be a Swift.

Suppose I'll give them a call so I can also be part of the secret brotherhood of knowledge

Does the promotion ad on the Bikehub Classifieds, which states that 'all frames and bikes must go' add fuel to the fire? Coincidence?

Any update on Swift's future in SA? Guarantees etc? looking at buying a evil twin but with no warranty etc can be a problem?

That;s actually a good question.

I don't think the brand is closing down, more just changing hands - the question is whether or not the new hands will uphold the existing warranties?

Otherwise, I guess everyone will be claiming from insurance in the event of an issue...

This without the rubbish blue sticker on the wheels looks beyond amazing!
