Sheesh... didn't you read.... "he will also be able to do well enough without it - the old school way - either that or I will kill him.."

The Ritalin? Or the Viagra? Asking for a much younger friend...

As a Froome - 'Go, Chris' - Dawg fan and V12-appreciator, I still can't get over the feeling that the process of our good friends at the UCI is fookin' appalling.

If he is guilty, be should be suspended. If he is innocent, there should be processes in place to protect the integrity of the sport AND Sky. It's The whole 'it' s not just the innocence but the appearance of innocence' assumption which gets us all hot under the collar and unnecessary offers of nudie pics. Getting stuck in the no man's land of Patch's patch and Froomey living on speculation is no good for anyone. The Giro guy is right - sort your sh+t, UCI.

Could be yes..I don't speak French, the way it has been translated sounds like he needs new kidneys [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Sagz's kidneys are fine for now.

Ps: a 'mate' from Down Under was off doing the Adelaide route, when he bumped into a certain young man with calves and took a really happy looking selfie for Strava. Thought of you when I saw it... #peto #verycloseproximity

Talking of journalists integrity. I recall them going through the garbage outside where LA was staying. Of course they could just have been hungry and were looking for something to eat.

I have been following this thread from day 1 .

Some very valid and interesting info being posted by some esteemed hubbers .

I do like Froomey , and from how I hear he has been training whilst in SA , he is obviously positive ( maybe not the best choice of word ) of the outcome .

UCI , sort this issue out ......PLEASE !!

Here's the thing..it is not up the the UCI..what they need to do is change the procedure around it and say you have x amount of time to come up with an acceptable excuse and come prove it in the lab

Sky can drag this out for as long as they like there is no time frame attached to proving their theory ..I think Ulisse's case took almost a whole year before a ruling was made.

I see very little upside for SKY in rushing to get this resolved.

Academics.... he is a chess player.....

There are better alternatives than either of those.... do your homework....

if it's not sorted by the time the Giro starts, can the organizers actually prevent CF from riding I wonder?

I might be mistaken, but the organizers can block or kick out riders, like Sags at TDF.

Question though is why would the Italians allow that, Froome being there, especially under such a cloud of controversy will bring lots of “valuable” attention to their race.

They might pretend to want to stop it, but they will allow it, I think.

Yes and that is why they will take as long as possible.

It's not up to the UCI it's up to Sky.. people seem to get that confused... procedure is currently that the UCI can't sort this out as many have suggested. Procedure should be changed to give a time frame.. yes sky will and probably have been tested every possible scenario it's also probably why Froome is still in SA clocking up some milage to run test and test theories.

I think the French might actually try and stop Froome from TDF. I think giving Bradet a shot at the Tour and having a French winner far outweighs having Froome there.
