Going to be making this for lunch, with some grilled sole:

 

QUINOA & CHICKPEA SALAD 
4 SERVINGS // 25 MINUTES 
This dish was inspired by the flavors of tabbouleh, a classic Mediterranean salad. Quinoa and chickpeas (garbanzo beans) are used in place of cracked wheat, boosting fiber and protein content. Lots of fresh parsley is key to the salad’s fresh flavor; cherry tomatoes and red onion add color and texture. Leftovers are even better the next day.
1 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained
2 cups water
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
1 15-ounce can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
⅓ cup red onion, chopped
1 pint (10 oz.) grape tomatoes, quartered
1 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped
1 Combine quinoa and water in a small pot and simmer for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed. Set aside to cool.
 
2 In a large mixing bowl stir together olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. Add chickpeas, onion, tomatoes, and parsley to bowl and mix. Stir in cooled quinoa.
 
Per serving: 350 calories, 11 g fat, 55 g total carbohydrate, 11 g dietary fiber, 13 g protein

Would anyone know how I fix Strava? It says that I've burnt 5661 calories today, so it's way out.

Maybe I need to run more if you can burn that much in 4km... :P

No idea how to fix it though.

Did you record with the app or did you sync from a device? If it's from a device, does that show correctly?

I went for my first outdoor ride of the year - trees down all over the place, water so deep in places that my feet were under water at the bottom of the pedal stroke and mud, mud, mud. Good to get out though.

Nope, I paused the app when we took a breather, and continued with it when we carried on. The time it recorded seems right, so I don't know why it says I've burnt over 5k calories.

Man i just stuffed up my whole plan last night. Was tracking nicely on MFP, then got invited to an unplanned braai. Few pieces of droë wors, a few drinks and a huge steak to seal my pie hole...when i entered the data this morning MFP "informed" me that every day like yesterday and in 5 weeks i will weigh in at 115kg. Back to the drawing board today. Starting of with a spin session on T.Road....it takes hard work and dedication to see this weight thing through. ( maybe just water for the rest of the day and we are having a farewell braai for my daughter leaving for Potc...

 

One thing that really helps me keep sane is the "Rule of One"

If you're going to have a bad meal, only have one. Make sure the next meals are healthy.

You should only have one late night.

You should only skip one workout.

 

It allows a little bit of lee-way, but makes sure that the good habits stay in place by making sure that the "bad habits" are minimized. Aim at getting things right 90% of the time, but no one is perfect. The 10% might slow down progress fractionally, but we all have lives to live and enjoy  :)

Here's a question. How often do you guys/gals weigh yourself. Everyday for motivation or do you stay away from the scale for a whole week etc?

I weigh everyday. Interesting to see how my body reacts to foods etc.

Weird...

Can't remember ever seeing something like that when I used to record on the app, and I have used both iOS and Android versions
