Just added my details.

I managed to lose 17kgs in total during 2017. I was hoping to finish up the year on 100 but couldn't quite get there. Anyhow, I am happy with my progress.

So this year I am starting on 103.5 and aiming to get to 90 by the end of the year.

In 2017 I lost 19kg...from 83 to 64kg.

Made a huge difference to my cycling, running and just general agility.

Plan on staying around 63 to 64kg.... I will NOT let it get above that!!

So, the start of a new year and since the 1st, I've had no sugar in my coffee, I've had no bread, and I've had no junk food. Did a park run on New Years day, and went for a run yesterday. Thinking of running 3 days of the week, then eventually upping it to 4 days a week.

I haven't weighed myself since November last year, but will take a pic of the scale when I'm home from work. I have to get back to 80kg.

Had a work braai last night, and am very happy with myself for not jumping on the beers the moment I got there. Only had one whiskey the whole evening, and ate rather well. Feeling great this morning and will get a run in after work today.

That's going to get to me over the weekends, going without beers, although I might go onto lite beers, or avoid beer altogether.

I've been great food wise so far. Travelling today, so will need to be careful not to fall into the hotel mini bar trap -

Yes it is hard. Especially after a long hot day. I was actually thinking of cutting the booze out completely for the first couple of weeks,or at least until I get to under 100kg again. But 1 whisky is hopefully not the end of the world.

Eating is a problem when travelling. And it also not always easy to take a pre packed box with you. I am home alone next week,so would also be difficult to not just eat junk. Will have to hide all the kids treats and biscuits.

According to MyFitnessPal, 1 shot of Johnnie Black is 25 calories when I scanned the barcode last night.

Not to shabby. Still in a deficit. More worried about how the alcohol negatively affects my training and weight loss.

After reading this, if I have to have anything alcoholic over the weekends, I'll have a few glasses of dry white wine, lol.

Added my details - great initiative thanks!

Have given up alcohol for Jan to start with and looking to cycle longer distances.

Also thinking of joining gym again, perhaps 3 times a week.
