I have just completed my final commute to work for the year 2018.

 

Managed to beat my previous year. Did 8 667 km and 96 424 m.

 

Well done Bats on winning number 1 spot!! I am coming for you next year.

Well done on improving your distance for last year and on giving me a run for my money.  I remember it was quite a challange to get to you before passing eventually.  Looking forward to next year but I assume we would not have such a good summer like this year.

 

I wanted to commute this morning but just did not feel like taking on -8 this morning.  I have an oppurtunity for one more commute next week before my leave starts as well.

 

Does anybody know if we can view the overall results for last year and maybe the year before?  I can view my individual result but not the overall results.

Things I've learnt today. Don't race roadies. Especially of you're on a gravel bike. You snap spokes and then the chain. In that order. Leave roadies be. Continue with your peaceful commute.

Had a look at my annual stats and I am actually now annoyed that I did not grow a pair this morning and do the commute.  I will have to do a 50 km ride this morning and then I must do 2 commutes in the beginning of the week next week before the weather goes to the dogs again.  That will leave me with 35 km to sort out in the last week of the year to reach my 10K mark.  Gettting very tight with everything else happening at the moment and time is a bit of a problem.
