So i have an odd problem.

the bolt that slides through the fork to mount my front brake is to short.

i've tried cyclelab without luck.

anyone know where i can find a longer front brake bolt?

this is for a standard brake.

so something like this

Is it too long by alot or by a cm? maybe you can make use of some washers or an extra nut

Uhmmm, he said too short Eddy.  Pay attention now...

Just a question. Is not possible that the front and back bolt have been swapped around, as if I remember correctly the back one is shorter than the front?

The back one is much shorter than the front one so I doubt that the front bolt would work on the back brake.

I find it strange that a shop as big as Cyclelab don't have spares in a box somewhere.

I got some from a bike shop in PE. They just went to the workshop and came back with a shoe box full.

Cyclelab service department is rather shocking. They barely carry any spares.

I went to a store on Sunday to try and get a spacer put in my cassette and was told I have to buy a whole new cassette to get the spacer  .

And that is the last time I try their service department.

Seems smaller stores generally have larger spares boxes, and a larger appetite to assist.

That said, sometimes it's just the person behind the counter who is unwilling to assist rather than the store.
