RD Hanger price

A sacrificial part should be cheap to replace. almost to the point of being subsidised.

Well done YETI, for making some quick bucks here, but convincing me to never ever buy one of your bikes.

For that price I would rather make one by hand from a piece of aluminium.

Absolutely disgusting.

Cost of machining and going the engineer route will work out to over a grand if not more unless you know someone thats willing to do you a favour.

The cost is not really the aluminium but rather the labour and programming of the equipment.

What's Yeti got to do with it? You can buy that hanger online for $10.

This is SA distributor and cycle retailer problem. Again.

I presume the distributor IS the Yeti agent .....

So if $10 is correct , then the distributor / agent is damaging his own brand !!

I was, sort of tongue in cheek, hinting that I would make one by hand without machines, using standing drill and files.

slightly off topic, but this makes me feel a little better.

I recently paid R395 for a set of Sram X9 jockey wheels, which I replaced a year ago as well, according to the bike shop that is roughly how long they last

I feel dirty and violated
