Absolutely disgusting.Cost of machining and going the engineer route will work out to over a grand if not more unless you know someone thats willing to do you a favour. The cost is not really the aluminium but rather the labour and programming of the equipment.

This is SA distributor and cycle retailer problem. Again.

I was, sort of tongue in cheek, hinting that I would make one by hand without machines, using standing drill and files.
BarryH Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 slightly off topic, but this makes me feel a little better. I recently paid R395 for a set of Sram X9 jockey wheels, which I replaced a year ago as well, according to the bike shop that is roughly how long they last I feel dirty and violated
