These trails look fantastic, and in some sections almost unrideable. 

that looks like soooo much fun ! .... except sp7 that thing looks hectic  :D

Richie Rude takes it from the frenchies, Sam Hill 7th. It's going to be an exciting season.

 

How does Cecile Ravane l crash and win the stage by 20 seconds? This must be getting boring for the rest of the women need to up their game.

I hope he will be back on top this year. I like Sam Hill, but find myself rooting for Rude to take the win.

It may not make for the most exciting racing but it definitely has pushed the other ladies to push themselves and up their game. Ravanel will not reign supreme forever.

I think that its Cecile Ravanel who crashes, bounces off a tree and then off a rock and back to her bike. That's skill :-).  Even Sam Hill fell over. 

 

I saw that way down the field there seem to have been around 6 Saffers racing this event. Brave men.
