Irrespective of who the athlete is or who tests positive for what nationally or internationally, if you need medication to race you are not healthy. This whole TUE system is abused world wide with the many loop holes the athletes and the support staff use.

HUH?? have you read the thread? she didnt dope to race - she wasnt racing

Yes I did read the whole thread and apologise, my post was not directed at her personally but more in general though.

I know she would not have doped and believe her version of events.

Impey is on a warning for something called Probenecid, dating back to 2014.

don't worry, here on the hub we've looked passed that, he's okay to win and race!

but this tanie must be a real doper

There is some confusion on my side about this issue of her racing or not racing.

My naive self keeps asking the question "If she was not racing then why was she subject to random drug tests?"

And then I get the feeling that some people on this thread think it is okay to dope if you are not racing?

So what am I missing here?

Yes it was not a random drug test, start at the beginning.

ja, but except she actually was.

here she is top step of the podium a month earlier!

in the kit of the team she's no longer part of?

It is totally plausible, but is just a bit fishy.

I see she didn't have legal representation at the hearing, a lawyer might have ironed out some of her statements to prevent something like this

The question for me is not "why it was not made *public"? The question is why did it take so long for the hub to get wind of it. So we all need to reflect and admit we have failed with regard to turnaround time. We should be grateful to the OP for showing our collective incompetence up and award OP with a complimentary 100 post count.

*Remember, it only really public when it is on the hub.

No one is "slamming" the OP for bringing it to our attention. The OP however inferred huge cover up, money changing hands and all sorts of dirty dealings. Pardon me if I do not give him/her a high five.

I didn't suggest that we slamming OP, insert comic sans - I am more highlighting how we failed as hub with not being first with the news

Sorry scotty but you may have beamed me up already. Her sample was taken during an out of competition test which is pretty random, it was not like she had just stepped off from a podium finish and was made to p1ss in a cup.

Retrospectively I was wrong in my post and posted without knowing enough, Apologies to all involved, it is a hate of people who cheat that gets me too hot under the collar too quickly.
