Irrespective of who the athlete is or who tests positive for what nationally or internationally, if you need medication to race you are not healthy. This whole TUE system is abused world wide with the many loop holes the athletes and the support staff use.

Yes I did read the whole thread and apologise, my post was not directed at her personally but more in general though. 

 

I know she would not have doped and believe her version of events.

There is some confusion on my side about this issue of her racing or not racing.

 

My naive self keeps asking the question "If she was not racing then why was she subject to random drug tests?"

 

And then I get the feeling that some people on this thread think it is okay to dope if you are not racing?

It is totally plausible, but is just a bit fishy.

I see she didn't have legal representation at the hearing, a lawyer might have ironed out some of her statements to prevent something like this

So we all need to reflect and admit we have failed with regard to turnaround time. Yes it was not a random drug test, start at the beginning. 

Sorry scotty but you may have beamed me up already. Her sample was taken during an out of competition test which is pretty random, it was not like she had just stepped off from a podium finish and was made to p1ss in a cup.

For someone who doesn't race and lives in paarl,

it must have been a serious accident to end up in Polokwane at the end of May 2017.

and she must have got very lucky because all the other ladies took longer than her to get to the finish
