The VIPA ULTRA - our purpose-built Stage Race / Endurance Bike

Arguably our biggest bike project to date --- the new VIPA ULTRA will be hitting the local trails shortly.

 

Following it's debut at the 2018 CAPE EPIC, the new bike has seen 6 months of added refinement ( on top of the 18 months of design and development ) as well as extensive riding and testing in South Africa.

 

Rider feedback and real-world feedback have resulted in various refinements and tweaks to those first bikes debuted in March.

 

The new and final frames are expected next month ( August 2018 ).

 

We will be launching a dedicated website and portal for all things ULTRA.

It is something different, and not just a different paint job like most other companies do.

correct - as we made 3 prototypes - yes, 3 in existence for the Cape Epic ...

 

the purpose of Cape Epic - to RIDE and RACE IT in real world conditions -- oh, and that NEON YELLOW - just to get you guys all hot under the collar and make sure you notice the bike out on the trail!

 

some German brands chose to ride without branding, we chose WITH BRANDING. personal choice I guess?

 

hold your horses --- final version is already in SA and will be debuting it at SA's largest and most prestigious ENDURANCE RACE on the calendar - hope to see you there, you can come see the chain stays in the flesh ( weave )
