Got my seeding info too, happy with an A-batch 55km start at 7h30. Not gonna stick with the front guys but at least there will be limited slow riders to try and pass, so looking forward to a fun day out.

I am in the “try to be fast” B batch. Will hopefully catch up to some A batchers ????

As expected, it was a USN race with a Garmin sticker. Had loads of fun with the added technical bits. Managed a 3h00 for the 55km.

Lekker event. I went in undercooked in hindsight. Sorry to all the B Batch riders having to pass me, I tried to make it as easy as possible without compromising myself.

 

Never ridden there before, had some proper techincal sections and some BIG dropoffs! Loved it.

Today was a really fun race. The seeding group caused lots and lots of hold ups on the single track, but it was really fun- that huge drop was unexpected and awesome!

You are lucky - that old guy on the ebike fell in the river at the bridge just after that big drop off!!
