Carlos Janet?

Has anyone encountered a carlosjanet016@gmail.com   I recently advertised my Peugeot Tandem on Gumtree and got 2 replies. One was from the Hub favorite Barry Smith and the other is Carlos Janet. This person contacts by sms giving a email address but then does goes the usual "agent to do the pick up". My bike might not be worth much but I would rather keep for my grandchildren than lose it to a scammer.

Carlos Janet has been mentioned on the Barry Smith thread as well. As Evan mentioned if we can't communicate via phone or whatsapp I just let it go, rather be safe than sorry.

If someone wants the bike before the cheque clears it's probably a scam.

I genuinely work in Oil & Gas, I work out of the country and I only have a Gmail account
