The section about the timing is what I was referring to in my second last post.

I just posted a tweet about the landslide[emoji6]

Quickstep will be all over Ineos from the gun tomorrow.

Won’t help much if JA can’t follow the attacks on the last climb again. . .

Jeez, how do one decide @ what km point of today's route is the finish line and still keep in fair to everyone

Cancel the stage entirely and start again tomorrow?

Think from here, JA will be lucky if he can finish on the podium. He will likely have to settle for top 5 or Top 10.

Still a very gutsy ride this whole Tour by him.

Sporsors will be chuffed as cheese

There is no protocol from the UCI for this, I think...

Best to sit down with the teams and discuss. Majority decision? This will likely then set a precedent for future interruptions of stages.

Fact that there is no official timings taken on the top of the HC climb complicates things.

Nah each team would just want a decision thay favours them.. best for the official rule makers and breakers to make the decision

And for some fun and games

Brailsford ITV interview cut short after this question:

“How does it feel that it was a natural disaster that made you win the Tour de France”

He wasn’t happy with that beauty! [emoji23]

That’s sad that the journalists have to resort to that type of questioning
