Just a question, this mornings ride please.

 

I forgot to switch Endo off after getting to my friends house and clocked 5km in the car before realising this.

 

Do you lot of riff raff mind if I keep this 5km as a replacement for all the other times my cell dropped and lost my rides?

 

.... as long as you didn't take your backpack off!! ... before you realised

Well done Cat-i.  This means you did an avg of about 25,7 km / day (weekends included).  If you can bump your average to just over 37 you could still hit the 10k mark for the year.

I can't claim any credit for that ride. My husband woke me up at 4:40, already in his cycling kit and ready to go to the office via Emmarentia botanical gardens. Apparently I agreed to it after 2 glasses of wine Friday night when we celebrated the end of 'sober October' ...

Nah you guys went out on a mission this year.  Seems like a good thing I had to change jobs this year so I have a good excuse.  I reckon you guys would have handed my ass on silver plate back to me this year.

Need to push this month. Aiming for 7000km by year end.

Only issue is the first week of December I am on leave. No commuting during that time.

Will see how it ends.

6,7 and 8 are all still close and a couple of rides can make a big difference.

Firstly, to arrive at the end of the year alive and without anything broken.

 

It would be great if the weather, year end functions, car-needing meetings, holidays and my legs would allow to get to 9183 - that's Bat's last year distance plus 1.

So Cape Town's South Easter decided to come to town this morningand it looks like it will be here to stay for the rest of the summer
