Bateleur1 Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 You're a lot tougher than I! It was hard getting up for today's commute - it was only Samson blowing in my neck that made me get up this morning. Out of personal experience I know that Samson and Hairy are quite motivating two characters

I FLY Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 You wouldn't have done that in joburg this morning.Yesterday morning the temperature hovered around 12*C but the wind made it feel much colder I am hoping it warms up a bit by this evening. We are doing a ride at Modderfontein Nature Reserve.
wildwindfr Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 This morning was a bit damp in Polokwane, but overall not to bad. This afternoon however was cold and windy. Almost felt like phoning my wife to come and pick me up.
Imploder Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 Geez! Cat-i, last two days have been 70km+ days. How the heck are you managing that?I'm exhausted in the afternoons doing my puny 36km commuting days. Much Respect!

Only option here is UBER. I'm keen to see the MTB build.

What size seatpost you need? Might have one for you
Hairy Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 What size seatpost you need? Might have one for youThanks ... but if the Giant dropper does not work I think I have a spare rigid post that will do the trick. • Seatpost Diameter: 31.6mm

How the heck are you managing that?I'm exhausted in the afternoons doing my puny 36km commuting days. Much Respect! Our own little 'Camino de Commute' this week - trying to get to 300 and 5000 ascent in the week. You were a big part of the inspiration for that ... Mr Cat-i (you've met him last year when Nancy delivered the Sani2C cookies) has been trying to catch you for months but you never allowed the gap to shrink. How I manage? Almost not! Lots of coffee at the office and early nights every night. Was very hard to get up this morning. Tomorrow hopefully will be a bit easier knowing that it's Friday.
Imploder Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 Congrats on hitting 7000km Cat!Whooa! Well Done CAT!!
