Then there is that laaitie tracking Elon Musk using ADS-B all over the globe on his jet. Supposedly Elon offered him $5000 US to quit, and the laaitie declined. He is posting Elon's jet movements on his twitter account.

But then, if you live in the limelight . . .

Pah.... Wonder what the point is of following the celebs like Musk, he should try some low profile but notorious types, gangsters for example.... the ones that fly under the radar so to speak.

The point of him following Musk is simply to get attention and gather as many followers as possible in an attempt to become an "influencer" and make money from the internet without having to do an honest days work.

Methinks he would get a lot more attention if he followed someone like Barney Bellomo

  • 2 weeks later...

I've been watching Ukraine on Flight radar with all the pooh going on there, interestingly some USAF r aircraft and drones are visible.

Boeing 707 upgraded for "Boeing 707 used for "reconnaissance" and battle management.

Since a few weeks ago, there has been quite a bit of activity of military aircraft here by us as well.  Several US F16's passed over us and German Eurofighters also been active.

So, what are the thoughts of you guys who have experienced or knowledge of, the proposed developments at FAWN, or Cape Winelands Airport?

I happen to have just received info on some very high profile appoints they’ve made to their management team. It is a clear indication that the airport is gearing up for some serious expansion...

Can not wait for it to happen

It is close to me so very easy to get there and fly

Love the idea of more than one runway, esp with the CPT winds.

🙂

My colleague and I have teasing about the Global Sentinal call up to fly for the RAF……..then I realised….I no longer fly an XRS or 6000 and I am too old! Perhaps just as well.

A little of our recent Miami to Anguilla, Santa Maria to Kuwait. The PFD screenshot has as a glare but was a lekker 579 kt ground speed. (Not my fastest seen) The two cities are Lisbon as we made landfall around 3am and then Madrid not long after. Sunrise was east of Madrid. The iPad pic shows Jeppeson Pro with the real time weather as well as our little aftermarket GPS position indicator.1B009CFD-EA39-4F81-872D-5B3C4C407181.jpeg.b348c5be9b1996658094ca6bab807a59.jpeg4AC8DFF0-572A-4274-8317-162B681585D1.jpeg.92ca2826c34a15fb54880c7cce113073.jpeg1CCC8523-AE35-4C57-BFF0-09FAD3B3E103.jpeg.fa4e5dcf4a1c284cbeb26f67d3e4df50.jpeg3427F5F6-32C8-4994-B151-811FDBD4FC05.jpeg.09b94964b79a0f98f27fe7d47ae0df01.jpeg6A6CF76F-3437-46CB-8A29-E4DEADC0FFD2.jpeg.b64dc17ef54c823868b0d103a96106a2.jpegDE5B1293-D5CD-4A80-BFFB-3555FF0DEAF7.jpeg.cb4b7e5612e87cceea466338415df3ce.jpeg780D08ED-ADF5-4D3C-A33A-D288D537C0C4.jpeg.5da7de0e0035ffa78a471a89be27cb69.jpeg
