ASG - Are they still operational

I bought a pair of Sidi Dragons from ASG Paarl on 6 February this year for my girlfriend to try on - all agreed.  They didn't fit so I returned them about two weeks later.  No problem except that they could "immediately" credit me, but it would happen soon.  Well, despite numerous emails and phonecalls, I haven't heard any more than the repeated promise.

 

Rochelle doesn't seem to be "customer care" in the broader sense of the word - or ASG Paarl is sufficiently independent that Rochelle can do no more than plead with Kyle at ASG Paarl to repay me.  Her pleas have thus far fallen on deaf ears.

 

What to do?  Hellopeter then legal action?

 

Anybody got any ideas?

You a lot more patient than me, I would have gone legal route ages ago.

After reading the bad press they get on here sometimes, I wasn't too optimistic about dealing with them.

I emailed ASG about some spare parts and lenses I needed for my 10+ year old Rudy Project Rydon's - Rochelle replied promptly and within 2 days I had what I needed, and at an amazing price! Thanks Rochelle / ASG!

I bought a set of really mint and as new Ursus Kodiak carbon wheels from a seller here on Bikehub. Except it was missing an endcap on the rear hub drive side. But at R10k for what is a R30k+ product before shipping and customs and excise, it seemed like a good deal. Emailed Ursus in Italy. They referred me to ASG as their local agents. Sent some pics. Took a few weeks but I got my end cap. And yes, they really *are* great wheels!
