The item you're looking for...

he is looking for a rear conversion kit. That is for a front 15mm TA to 9mm QR??

OP. you just need the 12mm cups from evo bikes or wherever to change your rear hub from 135mm QR to 142-12mm Through axle standard on a hope hub

Sorry for the hijack

My SLX rear hub was fitted with a new freebody but the LBS did not get the spacer that fits on the cassette side and it has been 5 weeks of waiting .Any ideas?

Is it the spacer between the free hub and the cassette? if so, I have a spare for you

hahahaha

End caps. No idea what Raf is on about.

There ARE also 12mm end caps for the front hub so you can run them on gravel/disc road bikes.

One is black, one is silver. I have used QR, 10mm 135 bolt thru, 10mm 135 bolt in (different axle), 135 and142x12 and a boostinator end cap all for the same pro II evo hub.

International trade bring them in and I'm sure guys on here have some lying around.

I shipped some QR caps to Eddy the other day so he probably has some 142x12 in his workshop.

Spoke to the suppliers for Hope... According to them, that kit was not available. I'd think that they are the specialists.

people are confusing 12mm bolt on and 12mm TA. they are not the same thing.

The OP aksed for 12mm Trough Axle. which is just achieved with an encap swop

plain old 12mm with those endcaps as above with the axle is for 135x12mm bolt on, not 12mm TA. that axle in the above pic is threaded on the inside to accept an external bolt.

edit: see pic

What kit?

Hope have end caps for pretty much ANY hub configuration except that weird QR bastardisation that Trek put on the Roscoe.

I have 12mm front hub end caps. How can you tell me they don't exist?

if you have an old 9 or 10 speed cassette you can use the spacer that goes between one of the mid range cogs...it is almost exactly the same thickness. when i ordered my latest Hope set the guys at the distro's swopped a XD freebody set with a shimano one but also forgot to put the spacer in the box. Droo from Stoke lent me one of those spacers and it worked fine. The Hope one measures 1.85mm and the cassette one was like 2mm

Any bike shop should have them lying around.
