It's that famous section at Britstown where you get off the tar just before town. He got off the tar, but then missed the turn back to town..hope he realizes this soon!

If you are not out of RV1 by 10 today your chance of making it in time is extremely slim.

 

All weather stations shows abnormal heat today it's going to be brutal out there.

Ideally I think the guys in the lower halve of the field should have left RV1 already and try to get to WP3 before 11:00. Find a tree and wait out the sun for a few hours before getting on again. It's going to be really tough out there today!

i hold my breath every time the front riders approach critical crossroads lol

 

edit: also....following the route with google earth open on the side puts it even more in perspective of what they are dealing with. insane.

What are the rules regarding that cut-off marker?  If it catches up with you, are you out? Or does it have to have caught you at specific points?

Nope just an indication.

You can fall behind and make time up again as it happened last year with a lady. Cannot for the lifw of me remember her name. (and too lazy to search
