Ah ok. So general consensus is a new crank.

 

Although that ground down crank could work with time.

General consensus is that it is possible, but would require a narrow/wide chainring.

A104bcd chainring fits if you flip the chainring bolts round.

 

I run and have been running old XTR cranks and 104bcd ring for 5 years with flipped bolts.

 

(Outside on the inside)

(I think your FC number is a dyslexic version of mine!)

 

Quick Admin, Lock this tread before someone starts arguing and it goes 10 pages of why you will loose the warranty on the cranks if you polish them or cut the spider arms.
