I just downloaded the NordVPN software to my computer, the interface opens and you select where in the world you want to conenct to, UK, Denmark, USA etc...I didnt have to configure switches/routers? You just select your VPN point from the software.

I'm not 100% sure the Netflix is how it should be but for arguments sake, if I dont use the VPN and connect to NF then Shameless is the UK version (and its crap)....
If I use the VPN and connect to the states and reopen NF then Shameless is the USA version (far better!). If I connect to the UK VPN then I end up with some British comedy...

BUT...and I dont know if its just my system, I do have to log out and then log back in again on the NF software.

The NordVPN allows for up to 5 x devices to run a VPN including the phones. I wanted to go with the ExpressVPN but I wound up Googling for Nord VPN specials and found a discount code which made it a few $'s less than ExpressVPN and seeing how money is tight and the exchange rate is shocking, I took the NordVPN

Apparently though the ExpressVPN is faster than NoprdVPN but it seems NordVPN offers better security?

Here is a comparison from Feb this year:

Yes it definitely works for Amazon, not 100% sure about Google movies but its most likely supported too.

So use Getflix. But need to side load onto mibox.

Is this correct?

Want to try get onto Amazon prime and Google movies USA

Ok. I am going silly.

I downloaded Express VPN onto the tablet connected to a US server.

When I logged into Google play it was still showing south African currency and still geo locked.

After looking at the help, I did not get far.

What am I doing wrong?

Express vPN has local peering point in South Africa which is pretty good and pretty fast. Worth it IMO.

So Express VPN works well, to a point.

Google play movies picks up your account is registered in rsa when you logon, even with the VPN pointing elsewhere

Tried that, but the moment you put in your CC details, it picks up your location.

So the moral of the story is NOT to rent movies through google play.

Need to find another way.

Aaaah it is the same with Eurosport.. if you dont have a UK payment method you can't sunscribe..

So many movies on Netflix..esp the US Netflix.

Only other way I can think of is to buy a Google play $ voucher and load it onto your new google account [emoji2368]

Else if you are desperate I hear movies123 is a good way to watch new movies....never tried it myself though

Why don't you just use Showmax or Netflix?

I haven't visited the forum for a long time. In general, I chose NordVPN for myself. Thank you to everyone who recommended this particular VPN. I am very glad that I chose this VPN. I was very surprised when I saw such a large number of servers (about 5K only in America).

Sorry Mr Slowbee, I didnt see this comment.

Getflix is nice because its just a DNS setting on your router and then all devices on your network are covered.

They have a bunch of how-to guides to configure routers in their help section.
