Recommended Posts

I just had the oppertunity to meet the bulk of the Winningtime Team at the Telkom Registration.

They were plenty helpfull - gave me directions to Saturdays race, some tips, commited to get my results for Durbanville sorted, etc etc...

Thanks Team - for all the GOOD service we receive weekly.

Bertus

(now go sort out my results please)

Bertus..Wat rook jy.

a lot of behind the scenes things going on - what you don't know is that PPA booked three races - Amashova, Durbanville and Franchhoek for that weekend. The winningtime team can't be at three places at the same time - how often do they get it wrong - I mean really wrong?

Their fault somebody hit the box?

En wat ek rook is daar genoeg van.. kan organize as jy wil?

Why do they book three races if they dont have the manpower to do a decent job?

Well done Bertus - just when the hub gets a little slow, you mention WinningTime, and the comments start flying...

Never had a problem myself.

Bertus I suggest you look at the mess with the seeding for Telkom Satellite and 94.7 due to their database not been updated on time. Why take on more than you can chew. Once the monopoly is stopped (Pick n Pay events) and ALL races not only certain race results is used for seeding at Argus and 94.7  then the timing companies will have no choice but to provide better service to us the riders as the current protection barriers will be removed.

I think its a cyclical thing with the Hub: bash SA woman elites; moan about WT; LA dopes?; Seeding index is never updated; LA is inferior to Merckx; bash SA woman elites etc etc.

Repeats every 6 weeks!

valid Point Mallo - but then again - I'm delighted with my seeding for Telkom - so no complaints there.

And Valid point Popeye - a moerse lot of complaining - (you must have a lot of time to read all that cr@p though)

END of the day - they always - except for Saturday, get my results right - and even beter than that: they get the results up - ussually same day. And even better than that - if they are wrong or make a mistake, the FIX it. And even beter than that - They manage to time 28 000 riders at the Argus.

Come come - be fair.
