May I recommend Napoli Trattoria in Fish Hoek. Love that place and make an effort to pop in whenever in Cape Town.
Typically Italian family restaurant with cheesy deco to match. Service is also typically Italian in that often beautifully charismatic sense, or a demure of condescending attitude. With the odd skinner in Italian.

Had a good old laugh when an ex caught old Bernado and his wife/mama out. They were waffling in Italian and gossiping about us. Come time for the bill my date graciously thanks him full Italiano, oke went blood red.

Might I recommend Forneria in Table View ... family run Italian restaurant, by real Italians, with exceptional food at great pricing ... Hawaiian Pizza will set you back R82.00 .... though I think if you order pineapple on your pizza you may get kicked out .. it is a trap to weed out the riff raff of society!

I believe it is like a location tax for living in Cape town (or discount for living in gauteng). Scenery and riding parks there seems a lot better to me than what we have in Gauteng.
