You need to go to the Tokai office.

 

All you need to take is your present card.

 

Takes 5 mins max.

I had a card that was due to expire on the 20 March and they said it's only if your card was valid on or after 26th (I think).

Previously only the Tokai office was open but that may have changed but I would check with the Tokai office if it can be done at any of the others.

Big shout out to the ladies at the Tokai office.  Went this morning to process the three month extension on my Activity Card that expired mid-Aug.  Not only did they do the extension to November but also processed my renewal and made the new end date Nov 2021.  A pleasant experience and all got sorted in 5 minutes.

It's all a load of bull, I've just been and only received a 1 month extension for my card which expired on the 16th August.

Unfortunately the Tokai office manager doesn't understand the concept of time lost.

My card was valid until mid-August so I lost 3 months however I was only given a 1 month extension. According to her logic, people who's cards expired during April and therefore didn't lose paid for months are eligible for the 3 months extension.

The logic escapes me... especially when friends who's cards expired on the same date as mine received a 3 month extension when they extended 1 week before it expired (so 3 weeks ago rather than my attempt today).

Phone them, if your card expired after end-March they'll probably give you 3 months free even if it expired in April.

Don't try understand their logic..

Seems odd. They are usually amazingly helpful and efficient.

Probably. In theory SANParks are compensating card holders for the 3 months when they weren't able to get the value that they'd paid for.

Makes sense and is a great gesture.

 

How they're actually applying this however escapes me..
