What makes a good life?

As part of my degree in Psychology, I go through a lot of content. I recently watched an excellent TED talk on a longitudinal study on what makes a good life. (its not bicycles - although they come pretty close)

Thought you folks might like it!

I love this kind of stuff! While I am an engineer so probably on the opposite of the spectrum with regards to the social sciences field, I find the "science" of happiness fascinating. This one is one of my favourite Ted talks:

Thanks for sharing this Wayne.

Very valuable perspective.

It's been financially focused for me, and I have failed miserably, constantly. Which affects my happiness. It's very difficult to change one's perspective on these things.

It's a long road to walk.

Thanks for sharing Wayne. Thought provoking. I've spent most of my life moving on to the next thing which will make a good life (mostly experiences and jobs), only to realise a couple of years ago that that was not what makes a good life for me, and in fact almost created the opposite. Now I focus on spending time in the present and trying to consider how to positively impact wherever I can.
