Will depend on the condition of the internals and what needs to be replaced. The service kits aren't cheap unfortunately.

I've got my hands on a some IGUS composite bushings I'm hoping to try on an old Reverb post I was given. Couple overseas forum post about them being used. Will make it much more cost effective if they work.

Cogent Industries in PTA would be my suggestion. Otherwise drop it with any dealer who supplies SRAM and it will go to CPT for a service by Cape Cyles

Hi there! Can anyone advise on the cost to service a rockshox reverb dropper? And where in JHB would be best?

Thanks kindly

Matt

Hi Matt

Best service for any shock or dropper in Gauteng? Give Jaco (Jake's) a call at Shockingly Good Bicycle Service Centre:

082 418 7928

https://sgbservice.co.za/

If he doesn't know something about a shock, fork or dropper it ain't worth knowing.

I won't let anyone else near my stuff ...

As long as wipers and internal surfaces are in good condition, I replace all seals with generic and both upper and lower bushings with IGUS composite bushings. Been servicing them for a couple local bike shops and mates with out of warranty units. The IGUS bushings are great and don't delaminate. Been charging R550

@Alouette3 don't suppose you have any Reverb Stealth hose connectors as per the pic below? I need to convert mine from Connectamajig to the standard connector. Cape Cycles don't have anything.

Unfortunately not. Only just got my hands on one of those newer C1 posts recently.

Have a B1 post as a donor unit, but that also has a connectamajig attachment
