Having done similar I know I would have to idle along and be careful to complete that route on a single battery .... can see a few riders getting "stuck" ....

In some places of the trail >40 degrees was measured. The heat was intense and there was no relief because shade does not exist there.
Mamil Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Great event. Marathon was 65km, 1700m ascent. I forgot how much I love mtb and also how slow I am. An ebike rider said "excuse me" in a very calm voice when I was creeping up one of those 10 percenters. He didn't sound embarrassed as he said thank you in a conversational tone I could only answer with a grunt and I spent the rest of the hill wondering if I should scrap the top fuel idea and turn to the dark side....
