Spinnekop.... the Cosmics is out. The Zipps give it the edge and just complete the mean looking machine. Is that FSA compacted cranks? If so..... Since when do you have a hard time on the hills? <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Congrats with an awesome looking bike.

Or get some lightweights

And here's a pic of them on a Cannondale

Some more information about these wheels :

http://www.cyclingnews.com/tech.php?id=tech/2004/reviews/lightweight

"When it comes to deep rimmed carbon wheels, a few popular brands spring to

mind, such as Zipp, HED and Campagnolo. But a close inspection of the pro peloton

will show another very popular carbon wheel that hasn't had the recognition

that it has perhaps deserved, due to contractual obligations with sponsors.

The somewhat covertly named Lightweight wheels, now owned by German company

CarbonSports GmbH, have been ridden by the world's top cyclists, triathletes

and duathletes for over 10 years, and in recent times Lightweights have begun

to penetrate the amateur market as well."

http://www.roadcycling.com/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi/4/909

"It?s

hard to believe the thought of professionals still buying their own

equipment, but when it comes down to having the best, even

professionals dish out the dough. While hitting the rounds at Interbike

(see Interbike Coverage Parts 1-7), we had the opportunity to sit down

and talk to Stefan Behrens of CarbonSports GmbH, the makers of

Lightweight Wheels. Lightweight Wheels have been ridden by the world's

top cyclists, triathletes and duathletes for over 10 years, but most

still don?t know the Lightweight name."

Here's a better photo of these amazing wheels!

Spidy, ek het jou bike se sussie by Westdene gesien die naweek. Die swarte met die alu wat wys. Dit het Cannondale carbon brake arches op gehad. Nie so mooi soos die rooie nie.

Spidey, very very nice Nige... Crux mentioned (completely off the cuff) that I can order one as well since he will be putting in an order soon. My problem is my Mrs agrees! Was hoping to use the resistance as a sanity pill.

I know lightning never strikes twice, so I have to ask...... what would the Queen(ie) do?

OK.... but the Queen(ie) I refer to is actually the one Crux is so kindly disposed to. I mean, she is afterall the national champ, so her opinion has to count for something?
