A rainy late afternoon that would’ve levelled the playing field somewhat, especially near the top.

Daan Hoole taking all-out risks on the corners and earns his biggest career win with a mere 7 seconds over the impressive Josh Tarling.

Mountain time imminent. Hmmm. Don’t blink.

UAE with 4 riders in the top 10 and Vine/Majka should control the race. Ayuso & Del Torro young and unproven although Ayuso has podiumed in a GT. Watching the chaos in UAE with great interest, Roglic and others will be a beneficiaries. Maybe we see a surprise winner?

Ja I was wondering about this. 2 years ago Jumbo Visma was so strong they had a separate rider win each of the 3 grand tours. It both worked and didn't work though, as they narrowly avoided a total meltdown at the Vuelta and Primoz left.

I don't know too much about del Toro but he does seem like a good climber and stage racer in general so I'm looking forward to the next 2 weeks.

Also, if ever a rider was born to rider for Red Bull... del Toro.
