Drake Events presents the Tour de la Col, an all-inclusive 3-day tour from Pretoria to Nelspruit, aligning with the Jock Classic Road Race.

Although it may be a challenge, the group will ride at a respectable, endurance pace daily. So what, it's on the landing page along with other info. Just one click, literally.
And if anything it gives the guy's website a bit of traffic, which also helps.

By no means are we embarrassed by the costs.  Today's culture leads people to look at price without looking at what's included, followed by the same people making comments on how they can ride by themselves for free.  In marketing, a company will never lead with price, but rather the value into what you are buying.  The costs, just like the routes, proposed pace, etc., is all on the website as transparent as we can be.  The serious entrants who click on the link to the website will see this, but the keyboard warriors will scroll and troll on.

I'll just add this to my bucket list...
We lived in Lydenburg when I was in primary school; I would LOVE to ride through there and especially Long Tom Pass one day when I have the time.

did you, a promoter of an event, just call me a troll ?

For your information, I was actually interested in the event, not for 2022 due to current circumstances but certainly was a possibility for 2023. An idea of cost would help make that decision.

If you're going through the trouble of posting all the other info and a banner why exclude the cost. I must now go clicking on further links. Links that are blocked at the draconian place of work I'm at (somehow bikehub has not hit their radar to be blocked yet).

Not at all ouzo... just mentioning there's a lot of people out there trolling people trying to do good both in and out the cycling community.  I didn't nor do I mean you.

I do hope you may look at joining us for future tours.  We are all-inclusive and aim at building people up, giving more confidence to the average rider to believe they can ride further with the correct support.

Sorry to hear about the blocked sites at work.  We need to get the powers at be into cycling. 😉

Wes, I think it's clear you weren't calling anyone anything and you explained it well enough. All the best with the event, it looks to be an amazing experience along somewhere different.
Hope to tick this one off soon!

Maybe my ride this morning did not de-stress me enough and I was seeing things that were not there. @wesdrakesecond response cleared things up.

Anyway, you got some bumps on your thread, hopefully it brings more entrants for you.
