Canaris Posted July 8, 2008 Share NOw that the winter is biting and slowpokes birthday is long gone, it is time for the Tour d Klapperkop. and yes zoo, tram will be the first climb of the tour (traffic and such stuff) but we will have a warm up before we get there (more than just 400 meters promise). TWo things are required:Date? (please submit your tenders)Size and participants- this will determine the start/finish and after race activities. So please indicate your interest as well as a possible date (sunday/ saterday ext), and the democractic proccess al a Zimbabwe will be followed (ie HR, myself and a selected politburo will decide) to determine the finish touches. Canaris Posted July 8, 2008 Share Hoping somewhere in early August. CONCEPT ROUTE THE route is road bike. Start either at Cherry lane (or at SADIC (depends on numbers ext)) Ride to fountains circle, around the circle back to TRAM, Koningin Willy, Peseus, SADIC, (first climb) Down sidney and back (Second climb) Pikkewyn, squirrel, lion and back (Third climb) Down Rissik, to fountain circle and back (Fourth climb). If the College is the start then Change to MTB, cycle to radio beacon, down the single track, the pipes track, find single track back to golf course, Killer climb to water towers and then back to College.
