Does this happen on all gears, or just the top gear? Could be derailleur alignment, check the limit screws and the B-tension screw.

Top 3 gears but different extremities.

It is a totally typical case of a very common phenomenon called "I just changed one teeny tiny little thing and got struck by lightning"! An alternative name for it is "I meant to spend a hundred and it ended up costing me a thousand" !t is most often found in bicycles (I have some experience), old cars (I have a bit of experience) as well as old houses (I have lots of experience). 😜

Upgraded my almost new 5D2 to the 5D3 .... only a few hundred rand ...

Yeah right ...

Ooohhh ... Lightroom 3 cant handle the new Canon raw files ....

Few thousand for Lightroom 4 ....

Ooooo crap .... My computer hardware cant run LR4 .... ton of money for a top end laptop ....

Thess things spiral out of control way too quickly ....

🤣🤣🤣 thanks a mil for you humor. Yes, you are spot on with your assumptions of my meaning of shaffing in this instance. Will try your advice tomorrow. Cheers.

Glad it is all sorted now but how did you fall asleep last night with all the advice given and it "turning" out to be such a small issue. What I mean is, it would've kept me awake all night if I had not tried to remedy the problem then 😆
