Actually he is raced several epics already, he is basically the patron saint of everything soccer in Spain. Done it all, soccer peeps just found out. He says he enjoys the epic because most there don't know who he is. He has done many races, marathons including marathon de sables.

He has ridden a few epics in the past which is why I was surprised that it was news. But as you say, the patron saint of all things footie so ya….

my first though when you mentioned oval ball wrestlers was Judo competitors.....then it hit me,..the other footie also known as hoepie le(met n kappie)
