MORNE Posted October 31, 2022 Share Fidlock’s? Expensive too (locally) though. Takelot has the SKS versions. A d the Fidlock ones you can get from Trailtech cycles as far as i know. https://trailtechcycles.co.za/collections/vendors?q=FidLock Its the same as the Thirstmaster system YT uses on their trail/enduro bikes. around 750-900 ish for the whole thing I think. They come in different sizes. https://www.mbr.co.uk/reviews/hydration-packs/fidlock-twist-bottle-and-bike-base https://off.road.cc/content/review/accessories-misc/fidlock-twist-bottle-450-bike-base-review-8301?amp Edited October 31, 2022 by MORNE
Cardio Goth Posted October 31, 2022 Share I've never lost a bottle out of the plastic Spez Zee Cage but I recently upgraded to titanium King Cages and they're .. pretty sweet, even if they are unjustifiably expensive.
Danger Dassie Posted October 31, 2022 Share Ryder Sidekick. Lightweight, low key, just work and cheap as chips. Eddy Gordo and ChrisF

I have lost like 4 bottles the last few months, pretty annoying, using it on a MTB on rough trails The Titan Racing bottle holder was SO tight we removed it from Maritz's bike ..... and slightly cheaper than the Spez holder ... Bought two side entry Ryder cages on Saturday ... let's see how it holds up .... Edited October 31, 2022 by ChrisF
AdamA Posted October 31, 2022 Share I have never lost a bottle on a ride! I use cheap Aluminum bottle cages like this https://www.sportsmanswarehouse.co.za/product/giant-alloy-bottle-cage/ This nice thing about these is you can bend them for a tighter or loser fit On Saturday I forgot my Camelbak bottle at home, so bought an Energade at the Trailhead, squashed the bottle cage, and slipped the Energade into the cage. Damm that energade was sweet!!!
