Here we go again, the Mother of events, if you think you have done some tough MTB races before.  Will be my umpteenth attempt to finish one without cramps, and will most surely swap out the 34T for a 32T this year around - anyone got a 28T lying around, I'll gladly buy you some cold ones 🙂

Image attached from last year... clearly around the halfway mark, where smiles was still floating around.....

And here I’m just wishing for not another DNF. Excited much especially for the new sections.

.....a birdie whispered in my ear that certain people had the privilege of riding (or perhaps walking) some of the new sections 🤐

Really want to do this race, but the entry fee and me having to buy a smaller front chainring is just too much💲💲💲😩

if it is a choice between the two, I would just forego the chainring and enter the race 🤔

That section is very steep with sharp turns!
think there will be a few crashes as fatigue sets in as its just over half way. The climb to the top is rad 😎

The climb is just as gnarly, some sections are so tight you might have to dab or do like a nose wheelie to make the turn.

I reckon you need to leave at least 30-60sec gap from the rider ahead of you.
