Never done W2W, but plenty of multi-day, Sani2C-type events….

Final day is short (to allow people to return home), but some longish day 1’s and day 2’s…

So I feel Mast x 3 MUCH easier…over in an hour or 2….

YMMV

What is harder, 3 days of w2w or doing the Tokai Mast everyday for 3 days?

W2W Day 1: 70km with 1350m vert
W2W Day 2:  65km with 1200m vert
W2W Day 3: 65km with 920m vert

Mast (from Bootleggers): 25km with 870m vert (and a lot of that climbing and descending is on tar, so much easier than single track or dirt roads)

I'd say the Mast for 3 days, purely because it is lame but difficult. Doing that 3 days in a row is just not going to be fun at all.

There is nothing desirable about that climb other than looking for a hill to climb. So for me, I doubt I would ever actually manage to motivate myself to ride up to the mast 3 days in a row.

I'd land up going right at the saddle to do bridle path and trail loops on day 2 and simply just not even bother to get on my bike on day 3.

The thought of doing such an unimaginative ride on repeat makes me want to poke holes in my own MTB tires so i didn't have to endure it

Why the comparison?

If you reside anywhere close to the mast, you are able to do 3 consecutive days very close if not more rad than the w2w route... And it wouldn't cost you a price of an organ.
