They normally offer one for free Virgil Gates
Dexter-morgan Posted August 15, 2023 Share Yip, Outsurance did not even ask me for a certificate, just your estimated replacement value and you pay the premium. Virgil Gates
HowardSteele Posted August 15, 2023 Share Get your bike valued ,taking account your upgrades which differ to the stock purchased bike...remember ,to add not only drive train and brakes but tyres, dropper etc....most important is wnen you add new upgrades remember to have the valuation revised . Bub Marley Posted August 15, 2023 Share Make sure you keep all your invoices for all your upgrades. At the end of the day, the onus is on you to prove that your bike is worth that amount.

MORNE Posted August 16, 2023 Share A different problem….watch their minds melt when you tell them you have fully custom bikes built from scratch that you wont find in a cookie cutter bike catalogue🤣 “yes but is it a trek or a giant or a specialised?” Also, the amount of people who hear ‘scott’ when i say ‘cotic’ haha. Shows how conditioned we are i guess. ChrisF, AkwA and Mtree 1

It'll be much easier for them to give you a quote. ChrisF

At least for the bike that isn’t an off the shelf purchase. MORNE
cadenceblur Posted August 16, 2023 Share Likewise, but if itemized should also be easier to derive value of replacement for a specific component.

Had to go beg at a fitment centre for a valuation document .... MORNE
